Good questions.
How does KeeWe decide what to show me?
By your own settings. You set the area you're looking in, your rent range, how long you want to stay, and your deal-breakers on things like pets, smoking and parking. KeeWe shows you the rooms and people that fit, nearest first.
Where does KeeWe work?
Curretly KeeWe is built for Aotearoa, New Zealand — Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton and everywhere in between. Because everything is sorted by distance from you, the app is at its best where there are flats to find.
Can other people see my address or exact location?
No. Your device's coordinates are used to work out which listings fall inside the area you're searching, and that's all. They're never shown to another user.
If you list a room, the property address is part of that listing — that one is your call, and you can take the listing down whenever you like.
Do I pay rent or bond through the app?
No. KeeWe introduces people; the tenancy itself is between you and the landlord or head tenant, exactly as it would be otherwise. Rent and bond are never collected or held by KeeWe.
How old do I have to be?
Sixteen. That's the minimum age for both the app and our terms, and it lines up with the age at which you can be a party to a residential tenancy in New Zealand.
What if someone isn't who they say they are?
Report them. Every profile and every chat has a report option, and blocking takes effect immediately — they disappear from your deck and can't message you again.
Reports are read by a real person and assessed against our terms. We never tell the reported user who made the report.
Can I use KeeWe in another language?
Yes. KeeWe is multilingual — pick your language in Settings and the whole app follows, from the search filters to your listing.
When can I actually get it?
